Install

Run your own Apps on Cloudflare Workers or celld: installable App Releases, each with its own Durable Object, SQLite database and declared bindings

For a published npm release:

npm install @fungi.computer/oyster react react-dom wrangler

pnpm, Yarn and Bun work the same way.

Bring your own react, react-dom, wrangler. @fungi.computer/oyster lists them as peer dependencies so your app keeps one copy.

Install or set up

pnpm add @fungi.computer/oyster

Oyster is ESM only and runs on Node 24 or newer, Cloudflare Workers and celld. React and React DOM 18.3 or 19.2 are peer dependencies; the host renders its pages with them. Wrangler is an optional peer dependency: add it as a dev dependency to run or deploy the example Workers, which ship in the package under examples/. The generated API reference ships in the package too.

Oyster’s runtime dependencies are other Fungi packages, among them Agar for the App contract, Puffball for Releases and Mycelium for the MCP execute door. “Part of Fungi” above lists them all.
